Spain is preparing a new package of military assistance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
What is known
The information was shared by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the country. We are talking about four Leopard 2A4 tanks. Earlier, Spain sent 6 tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is still unknown when the arms deliveries will begin.
By the way, along with the Leopard 2, Spain will also give Ukraine an additional batch of M113 tracked armored personnel carriers.

The Leopard 2 is a main battle tank developed by the German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. Leopard 2 is the successor to the successful development of the Leopard 1 battle tank. The Leopard 2 has many modifications and is used by the armed forces of Austria, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain and Turkey. A total of 3200 tanks of this model were produced.
The M113 is a tracked armored personnel carrier that is in service with the mechanized troops of the US Army and other armies of the world. It was developed in 1957-1959 by the British company BAE Systems. In total, there are about 80,000 such machines in the world.
