The darkest dark fantasy of all time Raid: Shadow Legends is back in the gaming space in an unexpected format – in the form of an animated show.
What is known
Pixel United and Plarium Games have announced the release of six short animated episodes of Raid: Call of the Arbiter. Each of them will last about five minutes and they will be released once a week starting May 18, 2023. The short films feature promising cinematic-quality animation with deeper, more immersive storylines.
“We are thrilled to be working with such a highly skilled team on this exciting new series that takes Raid: Shadow Legends to the next level for our fans,” saidPlarium Creative Vice President and Executive Producer Nicholas Day.
The series was produced by Rollman Entertainment CEO Eric Rollman and showrunner is Jay Oliva, CEO of Lex + Otis. The composer will be Jesper Kyd, whose work you can hear in Assasin’c Creed and Borderlands.
