All these Xiaomi devices will stop receiving software and firmware updates from the Chinese manufacturer.

A few days ago we revealed what they will be Xiaomi smartphones that will receive MIUI 15the new version of the mobile operating system from the Chinese firm and now we come to talk about the other side of the coin, since the Chinese giant has just updated the list of devices that end their official support period.

So, Xiaomi has recently updated your official website for security updates with the inclusion of 10 new brand terminals redmi and BIT within the EOS (End of Support) listof which the terminals that they will no longer receive any more updates neither from MIUI nor from Android.

There will be no more MIUI updates or security patches for these Redmi and POCO smartphones

A total of 10 terminals of the Redmi and POCO brands have remained without official support from the brand since June 25which means that these devices will not receive neither new versions of MIUI nor more security updates.

The ten mobiles of the Chinese brand that will no longer be updated are the following:

  • Redmi 10X (China)
  • Redmi 10X 4G (China)
  • Redmi 10X Pro (China)
  • Redmi Note 9 (Global)
  • Redmi Note 9 (Europe)
  • Redmi Note 9 (India)
  • Redmi 9 (China)
  • Redmi 9A (Global)
  • Redmi K30i 5G (China)
  • POCO F2 Pro (Global)

All the smartphones in this list are more than two years old and within it you can find both models that are exclusive to China like others that were a global sales success such as the Redmi Note 9a terminal that has just been recently update to MIUI 14 with Android 12.

Taking into account that these mobiles are no longer going to receive more security patches, if you have one of them you should consider the possibility of replace it with a new one that does have support from the company O well unlock device bootloader and install a custom recovery to put one of the custom ROMs available for your terminal, which you will be able to find in forums like XDA Developers or HTC Mania.
