After a time with hardly any news, Google Home, the application of the American giant that allows you to control all the connected devices in your homereceived a complete redesign of its interface and its functionalities in the last quarter of last year and just a few months ago it was updated with a feature that allowed you to use the app as a remote control for your TV or smart speaker.

Well now, thanks to the medium 9to5GoogleWe just learned that the Google Home app has just received a new update that includes a function that will allow you to organize your favorite devices.

Until now Google Home allowed you bookmark connected devices that appeared in the first tab of the appin such a way that to look for one that was not in said tab you had to scroll through the entire list of devices.

But that’s over, since this app has just been updated with a function, Google has been working on it since December, which will allow you to rearrange your favorite devices to your liking.

Thus, as you can see in the screenshots that we leave you on these lines, from now on they will appear two new buttons at the bottom of the main Google Home screen: “Reorder” and “Edit”.

By clicking on the first one you will be able to rearrange your favorite devices however you likeBeing able to locate at the top those that you use most often. For its part, the “Edit” option replaces the “Add” button that previously appeared at the bottom of the app and allows you to add new devices to your account.

For now, this new functionality of the Google Home app only available to beta testersbut it is expected that it will reach other users over the next few weeks.
