With this automation, the iPhone will automatically create an alarm for you for the next day.
There are two types of people in the world, those who set a single alarm as their wake-up call and those who set multiple alarms every five minutes. I belong to the first group, but I am one of those who forget to set the alarm again for the next day. So far that I’ve discovered this trick for iPhone.
I have recently discovered a trick that guarantees that I never forget to set the alarm for the next day. It is achieved thanks to the Shortcuts app, specifically to the section of automations. So, as you can imagine, we’ll create an automation for the iPhone to create the alarm for you.
With this automation you will never forget to set an alarm
Although there are several tricks for iPhone alarms, such as make it not ring and only vibratethe AAutomation so that the iPhone creates them automatically without having to do anythingit is one of my favourites. To create the automation, the following steps will have to be followed:
- We open the app shortcuts on the iPhone.
- we play in Automation from the bottom.
- We create a new one with the button + located in the upper right.
- we select New personal automation.
- we play in Alarm.
- We select the option when it stops and we choose the alarm.
- Click on Following.
- In the action search engine, we look for create alarm.
- We create our alarm.
- We touch on the blue arrow that appears inside the action and select Never and select the days of the week.
- we play in Following.
- Finally, we deactivate the confirmation option.
And that’s it. Is easier than it looks like. An example of its operation would be to have an alarm at 6:30 in the morning, this automation will create a new alarm at the time you have indicated after stopping the current day.
In conclusion, alarms are a fundamental part of our lives, they allow us to meet our schedules and responsibilities, but sometimes they can be a headache if we forget to set them.
With the iPhone Shortcuts app and this simple trick automations, these oversights can be a thing of the past. Whether you set a single alarm or multiple alarm clocks at five-minute intervals, this trick ensures that you will always have an alarm ready for the next daywithout having to do anything more than stop the alarm for the current day. And this trick is just one of the hundreds that the shortcuts app has.
