Ukrainian developers are creating a role-playing game about the tragic history of the inhabitants of the destroyed Mariupol

Mariupol (Mariupol) is perhaps the first major city in Ukraine that stood in the way of the Russian occupation army.

The city with a population of about half a million people was almost completely destroyed, and its inhabitants were subjected to unimaginable suffering. The number of dead is still unknown.

Mariupol is the pain of Ukraine. A city that has been turned into ruins.

In order for the whole world to know about the horrors that have fallen to the lot of civilians, the Ukrainian indie studio Twigames decided to develop a game, the plot of which is based on these terrible events.

What is known

Isometric role-playing game Hollow Home tells the story of 12-year-old Ukrainian boy Max, who woke up one day in the chaos of war, missiles, destruction and death.

To survive, the hero and the inhabitants of the destroyed Mariupol need to adapt to new realities. Hollow Home is a story-oriented game, the purpose of which is to reflect the horrors of the civilian population as accurately as possible through the eyes of a child who one day is forced to grow up and fight for life.

Hollow Home will be similar to the hit Polish game This War of Mine, but, alas, based on real events.

The official announcement of Hollow Home is planned for the spring of 2023. Interested users can follow the project on official website and in Twitter account.
