If Valorant is not working, launching, running, or opening in Windows 11, use these fixes to resolve the problem:
- Run Valorant as an administrator
- Update Graphics Card Driver
- Check for TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot status
- Repair game files
- Disable your Antivirus software temporarily
- Close background processes
- Uninstall and Reinstall Valorant
1] Run Valorant as an administrator
There is a possibility that some permission issues create this problem. Running Valorant as an administrator can fix this issue. To do so, right-click on the Valorant shortcut on your desktop and select Run as administrator. If this works, you can make Valorant always run as an administrator.
2] Update Graphics Driver
A corrupted or outdated driver can cause this problem. Make sure your graphics card driver is up-to-date.
3] Check the TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot status
Secure Boot is enabled on all modern Windows 11 computers by default. If not, then you can enable it manually through the BiOS.
This issue may occur If the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is disabled. In this case, we suggest you verify the same. To do so, use these instructions:
- Press Win+R to open the Run dialog box.
- In the Run dialog box, type the command “tpm.msc” and hit Enter to open the TPM window.
- If the TPM module does not exist on your system, you will encounter the error Compatible TPM cannot be found.
- If the TPM module exists and is enabled, the TPM settings window will open on your system and the Status will read “The TPM is ready for use.”
4] Repair game files
Sometimes corrupted game files can cause this issue. Repairing the game files can fix this issue. Check the below steps to repair game files:
- Open Riot Client.
- Click the profile icon from the top right corner.
- Select SETTINGS > VALORANT.
- Now, click on Repair.
5] Disable your 3rd-party Antivirus software temporarily
It might be possible that your Antivirus is blocking Valorant from working properly on your system. So, temporarily disable Microsoft Defender Antivirus or your third-party antivirus software (if applicable), and then try to launch the Valorant game.
You can also disable Windows Firewall and check if it brings any changes. This might fix the issue. Don’t forget to turn on your antivirus program again once the game is installed successfully.
If this fixes the issue, you have to add the Valorant exe file to the exception list of your Antivirus and allow the same through the firewall.
6] Close background processes
Background processes are programs or tasks that run in the background, even when you’re not actively using them. Closing unnecessary background processes can free up system resources and can fix this issue. This one can be tricky so only terminate the processes that you are sure – staying away from Windows OS proceses.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the Valorant game can fix this issue. To do so, use the following instructions:
- Go to the Windows Settings.
- Select Apps > Installed apps.
- Scroll down and look for the VALORANT.
- Click on three dots.
- Now, click on Uninstall.
You can download and reinstall the latest version of the Valorant game client from its official website on your Windows 11/10 PC.
