The “Suspicious number” service will get rid of unwanted calls and SMS

Vodafone has offered a simple way to protect against phone fraud. The “Suspicious number” service will protect the subscriber from calls and SMS from fraudsters and intruders, as well as block calls and SMS from users of the service to such numbers.

There are many fraudulent schemes aimed at gaining access to funds in a bank account. The most popular are phishing, an attempt to steal a financial phone number, and fake raffles. Most often, fraudsters imitate a call or SMS from a “bank” and try to find out the personal data of bank card holders.

Vodafone online analyzes the numbers contacted by the service user for their use in fraudulent schemes. The operator, using big data analysis tools and its own algorithms, identifies numbers and alpha names that pose a potential threat to all subscribers, can make malicious calls and be likely distributors of spam.

Vodafone will notify the user of the service via SMS about all calls and SMS attempts from suspicious numbers or to suspicious numbers. Instead, users of the service will no longer be bothered by potentially dangerous calls and SMS.

You can strengthen your own security or take care of the safety of your relatives for 50 kopecks per day for subscription subscribers or UAH 15 per month for contract subscribers.

Along with the activation of the “Suspicious Number” service, the “Number Saving” service is connected at no additional charge, which protects the number from unauthorized transfer to another mobile network.

You can activate the service for yourself and your loved ones using the My Vodafone application. The service can also be connected via the USSD combination *207*1#.
