ElvUI is an add-on for World of Warcraft that allows gamers to customize the UI as per their choices and preferences. It helps manage customizable features in one place and minimizes the number of add-ons.

ElvUI Action Bar can be seen on the left-most part of the Interface Bar at the bottom of the screen, consisting of shortcuts for commands. If WoW ElvUI Action Bars are not working or showing, execute the solutions mentioned in this article to resolve the issue:

1. Update ELvUI to the latest version
2. Enable Action bars

6. Reinstall ElvUI

1] Update ElvUI to the latest version

Before starting the troubleshooting guide, make sure that the current version of ElvUI is the latest one. The updated version of the add-on ensures its better performance by including new features and bug fixes and it’s good practice to keep everything up-to-date.

To do that, type /ec or hit Esc > Interface in the game to open the ElvUI configuration window, and then select the Check for updates option. If there will be any update, we’ll be prompted to install it, and to be on the safe side,  update your device drivers as well. Once done, restart World of Warcraft and see if the Action bars are visible or not.

2] Enable Action bars

Check if the action bar is enabled or not, sometimes it being disabled is the reason why it is not showing up in the game, and hence players are not able to access it. If this scenario is applicable, open the configuration window, go to the Action bars, and then enable Action bars, also set it to the side where you want. After enabling it, launch the game and enjoy easy access to abilities and spells.

3] Disable conflicting add-ons

WOW does allow add-ons and customization, however, these add-ons may conflict with the ElvUI action bar. To know the conflicting add-ons, open ElvUI, and type /ec to open the configuration window. Now, click on the Addons tab and select the ones that are listed in red. Go ahead and temporarily disable them and then launch the game while keeping in mind that only unnecessary add-ons have to be disabled. If disabling them doesn’t work, uninstall the add-ons for the time being and check for the same.

4] Reset ElvUI settings

A lot of time, some of the incorrect settings and configurations cause issues while playing the games. That’s why in such cases resetting the ElvUI settings is always suggested. Open the configuration window, go to the General tab, scroll down, and then select Reset all. Now launch World of Warcraft and see if the action bar is accessible or not. Hopefully, this will do the job.

5] File a Report

The reason behind WoW ElvUI Action Bars not showing can be bugs, and that can be easily solved by updating the software. However, if it continues to be a problem, even after an update, go to the ElvUI official form and search the solutions and fixes for bug reports. In case, there are none, file a report and developers will acknowledge it and help you out.

6] Reinstall ElvUI

If none of the above solutions worked, uninstall ElvUI and then reinstall the software. A fresh installation will load everything and start the process related to it new, thus making the software bug and corruption free. To do the same,

• Launch the Twitch client.
• In the Mods section, locate ElvUI.
• Click on three dots, and click on the Uninstall button.

Finally, reinstall it and check if there’s any issue concerning the ElvUI action bar in WOW.
