Xiaomi has officially confirmed the existence of the Xiaomi 12X smartphone. This was done by Thomas Van Ten, one of the top managers of the company.

For a long time, the model appeared only at the level of rumors. She was credited with the mobile processor Snapdragon 870 or Snapdragon 870+. As it turned out, Xiaomi 12X will still be equipped with Snapdragon 870. Moreover, the single-chip system model will be the only difference between the hero of the note and the usual Xiaomi 12.

The smartphone will also be equipped with a small AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, Full HD + resolution and 6.28 ” diagonal. The main camera will definitely include at least one 50 MP module with OIS. We also note a battery with a capacity of 4500-5000 mAh with 65-W wired charging.

The cost of the Xiaomi 12X has yet to be announced. Considering the presence of the Snapdragon 870 chip instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, it can be assumed that the model will be several tens of dollars cheaper than the Xiaomi 12. However, the price of the standard edition has not yet been disclosed.

Recall that the announcement of new generation smartphones will take place in China on December 28, 2021. All three models (there will be Pro version) will hit the market with Android 12 and MIUI 13.
