Xiaomi introduced

Xiaomi has released an innovative device that it positions as a “power bank for the Internet” that allows you to accumulate the Internet in the same way as power banks accumulate energy. The novelty can connect to a Wi-Fi network to accumulate the Internet (and serves as an access point that distributes the accumulated traffic), and also use the built-in Ethernet connector for this.

The novelty will be available in three versions with different capacities: 4, 8 and 16 gigabytes of data. Listed prices in China are 299 yuan, 399 yuan and 499 yuan, respectively. This is equivalent to the amounts of 1600, 2150 and 2700 hryvnia. Xiaomi expects to sell these devices in collaboration with mobile operators, which can help the company’s smartphones enter the US and European operator markets. Potentially, this could be the breakthrough technology that will completely destroy the existing market for mobile routers, because it will allow you to carry a device that is not directly dependent on the coverage of the operator’s network and the current load on the mobile network. Such an “Internet power bank” will allow you to connect up to 8 gadgets to the Internet via Wi-Fi or a laptop via Ethernet, providing a reliable and stable connection of 1 Gb / s for an Ethernet connection and 300 Mb / s for Wi-Fi.

The company plans to sell 2 million of these devices by the end of 2023. So far, nothing has been reported about deliveries to Ukraine and the expected price. Follow our news – editorial gg promises to keep you updated.
