Focus Entertainment has published on its YouTube channel a story trailer for the Aliens: Dark Descent strategy, which introduces gamers in more detail to the events of the game.

What is known

The trailer shows the spacecraft Otago crashing on the planet Lethe. Now it’s up to a crew of colonial marines to investigate and stop an outbreak of xenomorphs – from facehuggers to praetorians and other dangerous threats. At the same time, we were shown several important characters in this story who are constantly quarreling among themselves, protecting their interests and trying to survive in this madness.

Also shown are several fragments of the gameplay, where a squad of 5 soldiers is located in different locations and with the help of various weapons resists the onslaught of monsters.

Aliens: Dark Descent is a single-player real-time strategy game where the player leads a squad of colonial marines to stop a threat. The game promises spacious locations, a squad customization system, the ability to improve soldiers and resource management. The game is being developed by the Tindalos Interactive studio, which previously created the Battlefleet Gothic: Armada strategy.

When to expect

Aliens: Dark Descent is scheduled to release on June 20 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
