Amazfit has introduced a new series of smart watches Cheetah, which is designed for runners, as well as the first two models of this series – Amazfit Cheetah and Cheetah Pro.
Amazfit Cheetah Pro
The model is positioned as a premium watch for elite runners. It is equipped with a 1.45-inch Always-On AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 × 480 pixels, as well as Gorilla Glass 3 protective glass and support for more than 100 watch faces.
As a runner’s watch, it features features such as the AI-powered Zepp Coach that provides personalized running plans, Virtual Pacer (race progress prediction and track running mode), Track Run (provides time, distance and pace for each lap), as well as MaxTrack GPS technology. This is a dual-band GPS antenna (L1 and L5) that picks up almost 100% of satellite signals and reduces interference caused by tall buildings and trees. In addition, the watch supports 6 satellite positioning systems.
It also includes sleep, stress, blood oxygen, heart rate monitoring and 150 indoor and outdoor sports modes for health monitoring.
Other features include a microphone and speaker for Bluetooth phone calls, 5 ATM water resistance, Amazon Alexa voice assistant, Zepp OS 2.0 operating system, a 440 mAh battery and autonomy of up to 14 days in a typical use case and up to 7 days in heavy use.
In general, Amazfit Cheetah is available in two versions – round and square, but so far there is only information about the round model. It is a more practical sports watch with a 1.39-inch screen with a resolution of 454×454 pixels.
In general, the characteristics are the same as the Pro version, the only difference is in size and materials: the bezel is made of fiber-reinforced polymer instead of titanium alloy, and the strap is silicone.
In addition, Amazfit Cheetah (Round) is not equipped with a microphone or speaker, and does not support Bluetooth phone calls. The watch also does not have Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Amazfit Cheetah is available in Speedster Gray for $230 and the Cheetah Pro is available in Run Track Black for $300.
