  • First, press Win+X to open the shortcut menu and choose the Disk Management app.
  • Now, right-click on the drive whose letter has been changed intentionally or unintentionally.
  • From the context menu, choose the Change Drive Letter and Paths option.
  • Next, click on the Change button and change it to the original drive letter. It is usually C:.
  • Finally, press the OK button and then try reinstalling Epic Games Launcher on your PC.

Another method to change the drive letter back to its original letter is via Command Prompt. Here’s how:

list volume

assign letter=C

Once done, restart your computer and then try downloading Epic Games Launcher on the location you created in earlier steps.
