Following the T-90A, the Russian T-72 tank ended up in the United States – the combat vehicle is being transported to the Aberdeen Proving Ground

In mid-April, residents of Louisina could watch the transportation of a modern Russian tynka T-90A. Recently, another tank was seen in the United States – the T-72.

What is known

The T-90A remained parked in Louisiana because the tractor had technical problems. The tank was heading to the Aberdeen Proving Ground. This information is officially confirmed US Department of Defense. The T-72 also goes there.

There is an important difference between the two combat vehicles. The T-90A was captured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine last fall. In the case of the T-72, apparently, we are talking about Czech modernization. This is done by Excalibur Army. She promised to upgrade 90 tanks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Dave Trojan, a retired US Navy aircraft technician, was preparing to search for World War II plane crash sites when he stumbled upon a tank instead. The combat vehicle was located near the Wendover airfield in Utah.

The tank was covered with a tarpaulin at the Pilot gas station. One of the labels indicates that the T-72 is being transported from the National Automotive Test Center in Nevada to the National Ground Intelligence Center, which is located at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.

It can be assumed that the T-72 will be tested and studied. However, the official purpose of transporting the upgraded tank to the US is still unknown.
