European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that Ukrainian pilots have already started training on F-16 fighter jets.

Borrell spoke about this at a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU countries. Of course, he did not reveal any details about the training.
Earlier it was reported that the US approved training of Ukrainian pilots and will not block re-export of the F-16 to Ukraine, but there is no final decision on the transfer of aircraft to Ukraine yet. It is only known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive fighters from a coalition of countries, as was the case with tanks of the NATO standard. The air coalition is led by the UK and the Netherlands. By the way, according to the Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine want to receive 40-50 American fighters from their partners.
