Ukraine will receive a NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system from Lithuania.
What is known
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda spoke about this. We are talking about two SAM launchers. Unfortunately, when the supply of weapons will begin is still unknown.
Lithuania has acquired two NASAMS launchers that will be transferred to Ukraine.
Air defense is key in ???????? fight against the aggressor.
Looking forward to more collective decisions on support to Ukraine at the #NATO summit in Vilnius
Together until victory!

For those who are not in the know
NASAMS is a mobile anti-aircraft missile system for destroying maneuvering targets at low and medium altitudes. The complex was developed in the early 90s by the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defense with the participation of the American Raytheon. The range of AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles is 20-40 km, and the maximum height is 20 km. The cost of one such battery is about $65 million. By the way, Ukraine currently has at least two NASAMS batteries in service. One battery consists of six mobile rocket launchers. In addition, the system has a car for charging, target detection and maintenance of the complex.
