According to the man, at that moment the smartphone was lying nearby on the bed. Fortunately, the user himself was not harmed. But the gadget is almost completely destroyed. Interestingly, the smartphone was in standby mode and was not even charging.
The owner of OnePlus 8 Pro contacted the company’s support service and received a response that spontaneous combustion was caused by “pressure on the motherboard.” However, he considers these conclusions unfounded and insists on a more thorough investigation.
