Assasin’s Creed Mirage is set to release on October 12 this year – not that we didn’t know that date beforehand, as Ubisoft isn’t very good at keeping it a secret, but now we at least have official confirmation from the PlayStation Showcase.
Basim Ibn Ishaq, a side character from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, will appear in the game, and the events will unfold in ninth century Baghdad. The game was first announced during last year’s Ubisoft Forward presentation as part of a group of several upcoming Assassin’s Creed games, including one for mobile devices.
According to Ubisoft, Mirage will move away from the complex RPG-like format of previous Assassin’s Creed games in favor of a more streamlined action-adventure style. Basim will feature many fan-favorite detailed series items, including a hidden blade, as well as new skills such as pole vaulting.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
