realme at Mobile World Congress announced the realme GT 3 smartphone. As expected, it has become a global version realme GT Neo 5 240W.

What is known

realme GT 3 is equipped with the flagship processor of the previous generation Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The chipset is supplemented with 16 GB of RAM in the top modification. UFS 3.0 storage capacity is up to 1TB.

The smartphone has a Full HD+ AMOLED display that supports HDR10+ and a frame rate of 144Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1400 nits. Typical brightness is 500 nits. The screen has a diagonal of 6.74 ″, a built-in fingerprint scanner and a cutout for a 16-megapixel selfie camera.


The main camera of realme GT 3 has three modules: main 50 MP (f/1.9, 1/1.56”, 1 μm), ultra-wide-angle 8 MP (f/2.2, 112 degrees) and microscope at 2 MP. The smartphone has OIS, PDAF and can shoot video in 4K UHD at 60 FPS.

The main feature of the novelty is 240W fast charging. Until Xiaomi officially unveiled a smartphone with 300W technology, this remains a record. The 4600 mAh battery charges up to 50% in 4 minutes and up to 100% in 10 minutes. According to the manufacturer, after 1600 charge cycles, the battery capacity will drop by 20%.

On the back side next to the camera is a backlight that glows red, purple, white and green depending on the battery level. Also, the smartphone will receive stereo speakers, NFC and Android 13 with realme UI 4.0 shell.

Price and when to expect

Realme GT 3 starts at $650 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. The smartphone will go on sale in Booster Black and Pulse White colors in May or June, depending on the country.

We remind you that the Chinese version of realme GT Neo 5 with 241W charging is available in 12/256 GB and 16/1024 GB versions for $470 and $515 respectively. Additionally, the smartphone is sold in a configuration with 150-watt charging for $370-425.
