
The US Air Force is sending four B-1B Lancer strategic bombers to Europe. Two planes have already arrived in the UK.

The US decided to send four supersonic aircraft to support NATO allies in Europe. The reaction of the Russian Federation was not long in coming. In the Baltic Sea region, two American bombers were met by a Su-27 fighter.

B-1B Lancers landed at RAF Fairford. Two more aircraft will join them to carry out the mission of the bomber task force. They will arrive in the region tomorrow, May 25.

The US is deploying supersonic aircraft from the 7th Bombardment Wing, based at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, to Europe. The 12-hour flight from North America to Europe demonstrates the ability of the US Air Force to quickly deploy its forces anywhere and at any time.
