Armed Forces of Ukraine together with the radar TRML-4D received unmanned aerial vehicles Vector. Germany donated 54 drones, according to the German government.
What is known
Vector is a reconnaissance drone developed by Quantum Systems. It features low noise during flight and has encrypted IP communication for video transmission up to 35 km.
The drone can perform vertical takeoff and landing in confined spaces and harsh environments. The drone is capable of flying for three hours at a cruising speed of 15-20 m/s (54-72 km/h).
The maximum takeoff weight of the Vector is 7.4 kg. A ground station and a tablet are provided for control. The drone has a wingspan of 2.8 meters, but the foldable design allows you to carry it inside a special backpack.
