The new TicWath 3 Pro smartwatch has been unveiled by Google-backed Mobvoi and among its many features is the fact that it’s one of the first smartwatches to come with the latest Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor from Qualcomm.
By most Mobvoi smartwatch standards, the TicWatch Pro 3 is an expensive offering, but it comes with plenty of features to justify the price tag. There is dual monitor technology that means you can turn on the fly between the beautiful 1.4-inch AMOLED screen and the power savings still on the FSTN panel. When used in the AMOLED mode, the watch supports automatic brightness changes to save even more power without being utterly impossible to see when you step out into the light.
The watch runs Google’s Wear OS, and output should be fast and fluid, thanks to the Snapdragon Wear 4100. It also provides a range of wellness apps and fitness functions, including TicHealth, TicMotion, TicExercise, and TicSleep. Plus, TicOxygen, TicBreathe, TicZen, and TicHearing are available. These titles are absurd. Yeah. TicPlease. But you get that.
With Google Pay, there is also a built-in GPS and support for NFC payments. Plus, in smart mode, the 577mAh battery lasts 72 hours, and with smart features switched off, up to 45 days in critical mode. And you know, when you’re out and about, plenty of batteries for your needs.
