In order to attract back to the country IT specialists who left, it is necessary to create favorable conditions, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the president. He added that Russia is very interested in the availability of qualified specialists.

“We have already said that, of course, these qualified personnel are of great interest to the country. And, of course, we are interested in creating the necessary conditions for their return,” Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing.

So he commented on the statement of businessman Vladimir Potanin, who argued that there was no need to impose any restrictions on IT specialists who left Russia, at least for a long time.

Earlier, Vladimir Potanin addressed the need to attract Russians to Russia who decided to leave the country. He noted that this is a strength, not a weakness of the country – their brains, the ability to produce a product that is sorely lacking in Russia.

According to Peskov, it is necessary to cooperate with the departed IT specialists so that they can continue their work for the benefit of Russian companies and, accordingly, for the benefit of Russia. He believes that “These are valuable personnel and they should be a value for us.”

Peskov said at a briefing that the Kremlin is not discussing the possibility of restricting the travel of Russians abroad.
