The developers from Remedy Entertainment have repeatedly reported that they plan to release Alan Wake 2 in 2023, but the exact date has not yet been named.
The actor who voiced the protagonist of both games, Matthew Porretta, during the Monsters, Madness and Magic podcast, revealed the expected release date for the new thriller.

According to the actor, the long-awaited game may come out in October and will surprise players with its high quality. He can’t reveal details yet, but I’m sure Alan Wake fans will love the continuation of the failed writer’s story.
It is possible that one of the big summer shows will announce the official release date of Alan Wake 2.
